Gameiro's first VCF goal at Anoeta
Valencia CF's focus returns to LaLiga action this weekend, as they take on Real Sociedad in domestic competition. It is a return to Anoeta, where striker Kevin Gameiro scored his first goal for the club.

The Frenchman gave a first sign of his scoring ability for the club, after joining from Atletico Madrid, when VCF played in San Sebastian during his first season. He put the team ahead off an assist from Daniel Wass in a game that ended 1-1, as Real Sociedad scored a late equaliser from the penalty spot.
It was the first of some 16 goals scored by the forward in a VCF shirt.

He had previously scored against the Basque club on three different occasions. This year he was off the mark in the game played at Mestalla between the two teams, and he looks to add to his tally for the season at a happy hunting ground on Saturday at 6:30pm CET.
